So I finally ended up making my own species too. I will start making a species sheet soon, because there is a lot to say :P
Lumina cantare - short Lumican
Lumina - Illuminated, cantare - to sing

Quick Info:

They can be found all over the world, living in all kinds of areas. Depending on the area, they are smaller/taller and have different hunting behavior.
Sexual dimorphism can be observed - males have a slightly bigger muzzle, mane and usually no hair on he head. Females always have hair, as well as a very fluffy chest in order to keep pups warm. (reproductive 3x per year - each time 1 pup. Stay with mother until 1-1.5 years old)

Males will collect feathers/flowers/petals/colored leaves in order to impress females during mating season, they continue to "wear" them later until they fall off.
Lumican are very social animals, they live in groups most of the time and rarely alone. The "singing" part of their name is originated by their singing at night/mating season/to communicate or just for fun. They love listening to music and dancing as well :D

* Live in groups of 5-10 females, lead by 1-4 males (usually siblings) in territories. May be encountered alone/mother with pups as well.
* Are omnivorous - but mostly eat meat/fish/berries/roots. Front teeth are canines, back teeth to chew plant fibre.
* Wings are semi-transparent, always have space-pattern. They sometimes are invisible, can be "summoned" at will for flying/gliding/intimitating/impressing/playing
* every Lumican has a Corona of feathers at the base of the tail with different amounts/shapes of big feathers - most commonly 3. Ear tips are feathers as well.
* strong legs for long marches and sprints/climbing, forepaws have a venomous claw for hunting/fishing/serious fighting. Back legs have small scales, no fur.
